How we use cookies
VanKlass uses cookies for:
- Essential functionality — keeping you signed in and remembering your language preference.
- Marketing — measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns via Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
- Security — detecting and preventing fraud and abuse.

Marketing cookies are only set if you give your consent via the cookie banner.
Google Ads
We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. When you click on one of our ads and later take an action on our site (such as signing up), Google records that conversion. This data is used to evaluate ad performance and is processed by Google LLC under their privacy policy.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means Google receives no advertising data unless you have given consent.
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and to build similar audiences. When you take an action on our site (such as joining the waitlist), the Pixel sends an event to Meta along with limited browser data. This data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. under the Meta Privacy Policy.
The Meta Pixel fires only after you grant marketing consent via the cookie banner.
Mautic (self-hosted)
We run our own instance of Mautic, an open-source marketing automation platform, on infrastructure we control. Unlike the services above, this is not a third party — no external company receives or processes this data on our behalf.
When you grant marketing consent, Mautic sets mtc_id to recognize your browser and records which pages you visit, when, and where you arrived from. If you later submit a form on our site, that browsing history is linked to the contact record created from the details you provide, including your name and email address.
Mautic loads only after you grant marketing consent. If you withdraw consent using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, tracking stops and the mtc_id and mtc_sid cookies are deleted from your browser.
Managing cookies
You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. You can also refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of VanKlass from working.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
